From the 1st of July until the 27th of August, the bar is open every day and offers local and fresh meals (see the map of our suppliers). As a quick lunch, you can have bruschettas, homemade french fries or an assembly of local cheeses and meat specialties. For dinner, you can book today’s special on site or by calling +336-27-94-69-77.  We always offer a vegetarian alternative, and various homemade desserts. Once a week, the food caravan La Cuisine Nomade will be on the campsite to offer local dishes from the Morvan. Every Monday in high season, you may have a chance to enjoy a free music concert at the Bistro (see our animations).

You can also enjoy board games for all ages, and read a books at our little library. And if you need a roof in case of hard rain for example, the bar’s room and the covered terrace are also accessible at any time when open.

SUP and canoes rental

If you fancy a cycling tour around the Lac des Settons, or if you want to try out some of the official mountain biking tours around the campsite, or even a segment of the GTM (Great mountain bike Tour through the Morvan), you can rent our mountain bikes. We have bicycles for adults and children, and the rental is possible for the day or half a day. Bicycles are provided with a helmet and a lock. We don’t have any baby carrier or trailer to rent.

If you want to navigate smoothly on the lake or to picnic on the “deserted” island, you can rent a canoe or a Stan Up Paddle for the whole day of half a day. The Canadian canoes and the sit-on-tops are designed to embark a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. All boats are supplied with life jackets, paddles, a waterproof container, as well as a trolley with wheels to carry the boat to the beach (200 meters away).

Outdoor games – Sports – Fishing

The campsite benefits from a shaded park with games and sports installations, including:
  • Swings and several playground equipment
  • A “pétanque” (boules) court
  • A basketball hoop
  • A volleyball / badminton net
  • Four table tennis tables
  • Grassed areas for playing ball

Rackets, balls and various outdoor wooden games (molki, Kubb game, Breton puck) are freely available at reception.

The campsite also offers a beautiful 3000m2 pond accessible to all ages, without a fishing license. The only rule to respect is a “no kill practice”: all fishes have to be safely returned to the pond, barbs on fishhooks are forbidden, etc.(see our fishing regulations).

Sanitation facilities

The campsite is equipped with 3 mixed sanitary buildings including:
  • Individual shower cabins
  • Individual washbasin cabins equipped with electrical outlets
  • Restroom cabins (toilet paper not provided)
  • Sinks for dishes
  • Laundry sinks
  • Two baby baths
  • A shower cabin and a restroom cabin dedicated to people with reduced mobility
  • A laundry room with two washing machines and a tumble dryer
  • A chemical toilets drain
For the motorhomes and caravans, we have a spacious and easily accessible emptying area, with the possibility to fill in the water tanks. Water taps are also distributed all around the campsite (see the camping map).

Animations

During July and August, we organize a free music concert every Monday open to all. These concerts will make you discover artists from Morvan or elsewhere and different musical repertoires (traditional music, song-poetry, jazz-gypsy, reggae…). Warm and family atmosphere, dancers or singers of all stripes are welcome! The 2024 program is detailed below.

Throughout the season, we also relay the tourist office newsletter which lists the animations in the vicinity of the Settons.

Yoga classes at the campsite are back this summer with Dorothée who offers morning sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 11am between July 16 and August 15 included. The sessions last 1 hour and are accessible to all (adaptations provided) whether you are residents of the campsite or not. Bring a towel and/or your practice mat and a bottle of water.

The cost of the session is 10€ to be paid directly on site at the beginning of the class.

Lundi 15 juillet 20h30 : Lindalë – Duo irlandais et folk américain
Lindalë, c’est la rencontre de Clémence Chatain (violon, flûte traversière et chant) et de Gaspard Bazin (guitare et chant) autour d’une passion commune pour les airs traditionnels irlandais et les chansons folks américaines. Ballades, chansons, jigs et reels enflammés constituent leur répertoire !
Lundi 22 juillet 20h30 : Duo Dumont-Thiéry – Chanson militante et féministe
Ambrassadrices de la dictature woke et du piquet de grève, Aline et Suzanne vous embarquent dans leur univers au son de la voie et de l’accordéon.
Lundi 29 juillet 20h30 : La Patelle Noire – Bal trad
La Patelle Noire, c’est Gaelle Guenver à l’accordéon chromatique et Benoit Guenoun à la cornemuse du Centre et à la flûte traversière.
Aujourd’hui ancrée sur les roches granitiques du Morvan, La Patelle Noire y multiplie les échanges et y puise énergie et inspiration.
Inusables musiciens des bœufs nocturnes et danseurs passionnés, à l’image de leurs sensibilités musicales aux influences multiples allant du rock progressif au swing musette, en passant par le métal, le zouk, le punk ou le free jazz, ils proposent un bal dynamique dans la tradition des bals Centre France, mélangeant compositions personnelles, airs traditionnels et airs de musiciens contemporains qu’ils apprécient.
Lundi 05 août 20h30 : Lueur Hasarde – Duo chant/piano
Lueur Hasarde est un savoureux mélange de piano, de voix et de machines. Les textes, imprégnés de poésie et de convictions, se tissent avec les élans mélodiques et rythmiques du piano. Lueur Hasarde nous emmène dans son univers à la frontière de plusieurs styles, glissant du sensible au pétillant.
Lundi 12 août 20h30 : The Unprepared – Musique irlandaise et écossaise
The Unprepared est un trio instrumental de musique irlandaise et écossaise. Groupe international composé de David Lombardi (Italie, fiddle), Jean Damei (France, guitare) et Sam Mabbett (Ecosse, accordéon diatonique), ce trio se spécialise dans l’interprétation de morceaux traditionnels dans un mélange de subtilité et d’énergie, musique à écouter, à danser, et ambiance très festive !
Lundi 19 août 20h30 : Duo Tazières – Bal trad
Tazières, petite commune au bord de la Loire, c’est là qu’à grandi Maya, l’accordéoniste et
chanteuse du groupe. Avec son copain Benjamin, ils revisitent les répertoires traditionnels et les dernières compositions pour vos jambes et vos oreilles. C’est une musique réconfortante, et
chaleureuse, inspirée de longues nuits musicales au coin du feu, dans une maison de campagne
des profondeurs brumeuses du nivernais.
Lundi 26 août dès 19h : Session musique irlandaise
Venez vous détendre aux sons des violon, guitare, cornemuse pipe et plus si affinité. Une rencontre autour de mélodies traditionnelles tout droit venues d’Irlande. Musicien·nes bienvenu·es !
